Dublin is the largest of Ireland's cities, and is full of excitement 24 hours a day. Over 35% of all Ireland's citizens live within 69 miles of this city, making it the busiest place in the country. Dublin is renowned for the literary giants it has spawned, including Yeats, Joyce, Wilde and Swift. The famed Book of Kells can be seen at Trinity College, and there is always the wild pub scene at Temple Bar to get you going at night. The cities aren't the only exciting thing about Ireland, and having the freedom of a hired car will allow you to see some of the most spectacular sights the island has to offer. Giant's Causeway on the Northern tip of Ireland is well worth the trip, and this out of world natural formation is considered by many to be the 8th Wonder of the World. The Burren and the Cliffs of Moher are two other beautifully-weird sights that should not be missed. The Rock of Cashel is an area packed with fascinating history, and the beautiful Aran Islands provide a great trip out onto the sea.
